I think I posted two of the fisting prompts on the kinkmeme

You are so right, they would look gooooooooorgeous together. And this would probably start when they're still not-really-dating and don't touch all that much, except for when Alfred offers her his hand when she gets out of the car and stuff like that (and she accepts, because she knows that he knows that she doesn't need his help, she could lift him with her little finger, but she appreciates the quiet, matter of fact way he goes about it, and it is a nice excuse to touch his hand). So, yessssssss, dancing

I shouldn't have c/ped this, I have nothing meaningful to say about it except *chinhands*, but what a great excuse to read it again. I can picture all of this so clearly it just makes me want to melt. Such quiet and gentle and dignified pining, MY HEART. And the moment when they both realized what the other one was most worried about, when it came to how other people look at them, and they'd both be so wistfully warmed by it (while of course not reading too much into it). GAH. WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME.

Yes! I expect Saturday will work, and will report back as ordered. ;) This: Their entire conversations are basically bitching at each other and complaining about each other while working together like a perfect team and doing everything for each other is what my soul is made out of and I love it, so I cannot overstate how much I'm looking forward to this! ♥ (And, to return the favor: if you like people who complain about each other and fight but also are partners and save each other, the TV show Battle Creek may be RTYI. If you try it and hate it then just forget I said that.)

I am sorry I prompted all the things. It's not my fault Affleck has such gorgeous hands. Nor that Bruce is the kind of guy who'd love the challenge of having Superman fist him. Heh. And yep, consent play, immersion therapy, finish competence kink, that's my immediate to do list. I am not very efficient at actually, well, getting it done because I am the world's worst procrastinator.

I am glad you liked that bit. :D I have such a thing for gentle, casual and not so casual touching when that's all the touching that's happening and it feels so special to them and they're both enjoying those little touches so much, like there's more to it than just her resting her hand briefly in his, or his hand on her waist when they dance (and then there's a faster dance and she steps closer to him, tightens their embrace a little - what, it's just how that particular dance is danced, of course, Alfred, nothing else to it).
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME? Because now I'm kind of imagining Alfred getting more quiet over the course of the evening, because it is bothering him, the looks they're getting, not because people think he's a dirty old man, but because people think she's some kind of gold-digger or something equally ridiculous. And she notices and asks him what's wrong, and once she gets it, she'd just cup his face gently and smile at him, "the only person in this room whose opinion of me matters to me is you". (Haha, oh, Alfred, "I know you don't need me to defend your honour, but it's been a long time since I wanted to punch someone that much.")

Excellent. I am optimistic that you will enjoy it if you like both action movies and ridiculously slashy banter. (I have actually seen Battle Creek! :D Picked it up from a rec thread last Yuletide. I enjoyed the show and the characters a lot, and not only because I've loved Dean Winters since Oz, although I'll admit that I somehow didn't end up fannish enough about it to write fic for it. I think I might have needed another season or two for that.)

Aw, thanks, that is sweet of you. :D I am awful at finishing things without deadlines to kick my ass, but I'll do my best.

Yesss, denial, especially on Alfred's side. Because there's no way that she'd think much of any of those little touches, right? No way they'd mean anything to her, no way they'd make her feel a bit dizzy for a second. Except then she meets his eyes and smiles that knowing, gentle smile, but that just makes Alfred feel like she knows what he's thinking, not like she's thinking the same thing.

I AM SO GLAD I CAN YELL AT YOU ABOUT MY ALFRED/DIANA FEELINGS BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE WHAT ELSE TO DO WITH THEM? Gentle, not quite platonic touching becoming increasingly not platonic would be their THING. Oh, and there should be things like her adjusting his tie even though it doesn't need adjusting. Or her asking him to close her necklace for her (even though they both know that WONDER WOMAN is quite capable of reaching back to close her own necklace). And his fingertips brush over the back of her neck, over the soft hair at the nape, lingering for just half a second longer than was entirely necessary, but not long enough to make it seem like he's taking advantage of the situation.

Well, there's a 90% chance in all conversations that I will mention Justified. ;) But yes, I'm fairly sure that was me. Western AUs or rather Westerns with the Justified cast and Timothy Olyphant as the bad guy? I remember that. Are you saying we've already talked to each other months ago without even knowing it? That is awesome. <3

OKAY I'M GOING TO TRY REALLY HARD NOT TO C/P EVERYTHING YOU JUST SAID BACK TO YOU. But damn. Throat-touching, I remember we agree very hard on throat-touching, and what are tie-adjusting and necklace-fastening except sneaky side-on throat-touching??? :DDDDDDDDDDD And her holding the rest of her hair out of the way, and him standing SO CLOSE behind her - just long enough for him to get it fastened, just long enough for them both to get a tiny thrill out of it. /o\ AND ALSO side note that just occurred to me: would also love love love Diana low-key worrying about solely-human Alfred and perhaps some very understated h/c, if he were to be injured somehow in the blowback from something going on with Batman. We were meant to beeeee, clearly. <333 Battle Creek was great and that finale was beautiful, but for obvious reasons things felt a little bit rushed at the end and I was just sad that we didn't get a slower, more in detail exploration of all that.
My Justified yelling is mostly Tim/Raylan yelling, tbh. I mean, it's also yelling about how Justified is imo the single best show ever made, but on a shipper level it's mostly Tim/Raylan yelling (and a bit of Boyd/Ava yelling).

Definitely lots of going dancing together. And yeah, the shotgun thing cracks me up. I would love for you to request all of this for DCEU Exchange tbh. Might give me a kick in the ass to write some of it. Yeah, it's nice that we got at least some sort of closure, even if it was pretty obvious that they were planning to space things out over a longer period of time.

Tim is the best. I mean, objectively I know that Boyd is the best, but Tim owns my heart. I still need that Tim and Raylan buddy cop comedy sequel.

Is it weird that one of the scenes that's really sticking is the one from right before Billy's death? I mean, I'm biased because I will watch anything that has Stallone or Statham in it and movies that have BOTH of them are basically heaven to me, but I do think they're great action movies. That's such a good point about picking up the case, yesssss. Now you make me want to roll around in my feelings! One of my favourite moments is their break-up conversation in the third movie, when Barney walks out on them and Lee runs outside and confronts him and literally everything they say in that conversation is like a couple breaking up. Probably at the beginning of one of their dates, when Alfred picks her up, and there's this long, sweet, lingering kiss ... and then he just takes her hand and they go out as planned. And the sexual tension is even thicker that night because of that kiss. I also adore Rachel and Art, yep, but Tim is definitely my fave. He improved every episode and every scene he was in. <3 Whenever he was missing for a few episodes I got so sad.

As an aside, I generally love how Stallone doesn't in fact make his characters hook up with hot younger women in most of his recent movies. I mean, he could do that, he's the director, but he doesn't. Instead he'd much rather write his and Statham's characters as a married couple who are each other's most important person.

I have no real opinion on parkour, tbh. ;D But Luc Besson is usually fun, so I'll see if I can check it out some time soon. Btw, if you like/don't mind some incest with your loyalty kink ships, I might also have more dumb action movie recs for you. ;)

Yep, it's really one of the many many reasons I have an embarrassing crush on Sylvester Stallone, haha. Plus it absolutely helps with shipping - Lee is the one who desperately tries to have a normal life, with a normal girlfriend he could marry some day, while Barney is not even bothering to pretend.

I will try to watch the thing you recommended. :D And no worries if I don't say something for a while, I am awful about watching things right away and always take ages. But I definitely liked most Luc Besson things that I've seen so far.

Have you seen Jason Statham and Luke Evans being evil ruthless badass villain brothers who unfortunately don't really share screentime but don't even need shared screentime to give you loyalty kink feels? Ooooh, were you in the Pacific Rim fandom? That fandom was so much fun right after the movie came out. It became kinda wanky later on, at least in other corners, but I had so much fun with Herc/Chuck (and wrote so, so much porn). I do love sibling ships a lot, too, but I just have such a thing for father/son ships. Partly because I generally like age differences and cross-generation ships tend to deliver on that more.

Right, she does, which is sad. But you get Luke Evans being creepy and kinda sociopathic and then you get Jason Statham on a glorious rampage of revenge (and, unf, he's HOT when he plays bad guys, I mean, I always find him hot, but it's like he gets more attractive the more evil his character is). It's beautiful. <3 And movies six and seven have more The Rock, and he's always great.
