This post is for everything that's not prompts, fills or comments on prompts/fills. You can discuss the movies or trailers or headcanons here, but you can also use this as a writing post: talk about fic ideas you've had (whether they're based on kinkmeme prompts or not), brainstorm with others, bounce ideas off someone, or post snippets you've written to get some feedback. Or even just some cheerleading and support while you write. You can also use this post to find a beta.

Kinkmeme Stats

Completely by accident, I was browsing through the kinkmeme the other day wondering how long it takes for a prompt to get fills, what prompt has the most fills... you know, those weird things that you do when its 3am in the morning and you've been painting all day.

I've started compiling relevant info on the main prompt post for the kinkmeme, in handy spreadsheet format.

Thanks! I thought it'd be handy for people who want to see what's up with the kinkmeme at-a-glance. I'll try to keep it updated on a weekly basis (depending on how fast the kinkmeme moves).

I hear ya nonny. Delicious's demise was one of the sadder chapters in my fannish life. :c

Hopefully this spreadsheet will come in handy for some! I've put in a few views that sort by author, fill length, fill date, etc. Hoping to drill a little deeper and get views that can also sort by prompt type.

I'm kind of new at using spreadsheets to do anything that advanced, so fingers crossed!

I'm still working on uploading the prompts/fills/basic stats. Almost done with page 6 prompts as of today. I've changed the share settings so anyone with the link can also edit the document if they want. I'll create a few backups. I'm always a bit worried about anon vandalism of my fandom docus; it's happened before. But for the meantime, anyone can add stuff if they wish to, or correct stuff I've overlooked, add in kink coding (to make searching easier). Have at, nonnies!

Hay fellow anons, I've finished updating the first round of data* to the spreadsheet. Should be current for today 7/25/2016. There are several ways you can view the spreadsheet. If you go to the menu bar, and select:

Data > Filter Views

You'll get a menu that has a lot of pre-filtered ways to look at all of the fills & prompts.

These are the sheet's current filter views:

Fills, sorted by status (done, WIP)
Prompts, sorted by ship
Fills, sorted by author
Fills, sorted by word count
Fills, sorted by type (art, ficlet, fic)
What prompts haven't been filled?
Prompts, Bruce/Clark
Prompts, without Bruce/Clark
Prompts, multiple fills
Filter by kink, identity porn (this will give you all prompts & fills tagged with 'identity')

I've only attempted one fancy filter by kink. You can create a filter view that does the same thing for you. If you're interested in how to do that, I can write up a quick tutorial.


*Now I just need to get back in there and code all of the prompts with their appropriate kinks. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
