This post is for everything that's not prompts, fills or comments on prompts/fills. You can discuss the movies or trailers or headcanons here, but you can also use this as a writing post: talk about fic ideas you've had (whether they're based on kinkmeme prompts or not), brainstorm with others, bounce ideas off someone, or post snippets you've written to get some feedback. Or even just some cheerleading and support while you write. You can also use this post to find a beta.

OMG this would be great! I second the suggestion to make the due date in September, August is not a good month for me either. I also second to open to artists. :)

I've a question: would it be possible to nominate DC characters/ships that aren't going to appear as DCEU characters/ships, with a implied 'what if they were DCEU characters'? For example, I don't know if Wally West will be on the The Flash movie, but would it be possible to nominate him anyway? Or Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes? I suppose the writer/artist would have the freedom to figure out how their DCEU costume would look like, what their backstory would be. Provided that at least one or two requested and offered pairings are about actual DCEU characters.

Exchange mod here. The due date would definitely be in September if we only start with nominations and signups in August. :)

Like I said, I would like to allow non-DCEU characters in as long as people establish a clear connection to the DCEU. So less solo fic about these characters than having them interact with the characters who already exist in the DCEU. Does that make sense?

I like this suggestion, though! I might just use that. :D

Just two more weeks, anon. ;) I mean, August 4th is big DC day, right? BvS DVD and Suicide Squad.

I was about to say, 'what the hell happened to July??' But then I remembered what happened to July. I wrote a lot of BvS kinkmeme fills. RIP free time.

In my case real life happened all over the place in June and the first half of July. Stop it, real life, I have kinkmeme fills to finish. *shakes fist*
