Or even just some cheerleading and support while you write. You can also use this post to find a beta.

Clark would definitely need to react and Bruce would be dying inside a bit (all according to his stupid plan!)

Bruce involuntarily turns around to look at Clark at that, only to find him gone. And thinks, even as his heart breaks into a million pieces, it's all for the best

Hahaha oh god I'm so obvious. :D And apparently really easy to call forth with a little Bruce angst. ;)

I LOVE IT when Bruce is stripped bare of his pretences, made vulnerable but instead of getting hurt gets ~rewarded for it LIKE. THAT IS THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT HE EXPECTED

I am a sad trope-loving sack who'd totally have Bruce clutch at Clark's hand, not sure if it's to keep it there or to pull it away and that small thing saying so much about Bruce
