Yesssss, banging while being idiots about it! Do not be sorry about this at all because it's amazing. Man, you write such an amazingly long fic for my little prompt, the least I can do is yell at you about how much I adore it. :D

All of this is so hot and so heartbreaking at the same time. I love that Bruce already jumps him in the car (and oh, Bruce who can't decide what to do first, because he too must think that this is the only time he can ever have this, if at all).

(Clark has the fleeting thought that he'd honestly be almost as happy to watch Bruce get dressed as get undressed. Sweet Jesus.)
I always appreciate little bits of suit porn. <3 And nooo, Bruce, let Clark touch you! Seriously, this is smoking hot, but I'm still all sad because poor Clark, he just wants to take his time and look at him and touch him and Bruce barely lets him. God, my heart. :(((( I can't handle this! "No need," Bruce says, and it's—it's weird somehow, Clark thinks, something off in a way Clark can't quite pinpoint.
Bruuuuuuuuce. :'(

He says it low and easy, a little wicked, and it's—it's awful. Clark feels a sudden chill, something bitter and raw and unpleasant clawing up through him. It's wrong, it's all wrong, it's—it's Bruce Wayne, last name included, but Clark can't figure out how to say he wants just-Bruce instead, and his throat closes up, aching with the lack of words.
YOU JUST DON'T STOP HURTING ME! This is the painful kind of identity porn. And Clark thinking about how this is the only thing he'll ever have and if he hates it, all the better, whyyy? I'm crying a little. (I'm not complaining, mind you, even if it sounds like I am. This is awesome, it just hurts a lot.) And then that mechanical sex that Bruce can't go through with to the end, my heaaaaaart. Bruce's guilt and how he's freaking out a little and Clark is trying to reassure him!

And this part is such an emotional roller coaster! First you rip my heart out and then they are sweet and Clark pulls him back in and that sweet, super intense frottage at the end that's just so god and everything they clearly need after the mess Bruce made of it before, and then of course Bruce leaves before Clark wakes up, of course he does, because WHAT ARE FEELINGS, HOW DO THEY WORK? You are amazing and this fic is everything. <333

Oh, Bruce, you and your thing about what's necessary! JUST LET CLARK GROPE YOU ADMIRINGLY AT HIS LEISURE, OKAY. JESUS I loved writing this just - way, way too much, because FEELINGS EVERYWHERE, and I'm so glad it wasn't too OTT for you. Bruce trying to do what he thinks he needs to and failing because of his feelings, and Clark forgiving him for it, is a thing I will never get tired of (and is probably why I enjoyed BvS so much, because that's basically the whole point of that movie).
