Lex said, "Mm, Bruce Wayne meets Clark Kent. Ah, I love it! I love bringing people together! How are we?" and then he beamed some more and added, "When's the wedding, boys?"

Or the one where Lex Luthor is the billionaire matchmaker and his greatest triumph is bringing Bruce 'Never Getting A Ring On This Finger' Wayne and Clark 'Yeah Okay' Kent together.

I've always said that Lex in this movie is a cross between one of *those* fanboys who always need to know which of their faves is the best in a fight, and one of *those* fangirls who comes up with this ridiculously complex plot to get their faves into hot and steamy rough sex.

I have an idea for something along these lines, but would you be down with a canon-based AU where Lex is trying to get them together in order to distract them and keep them from noticing his nefarious schemes? (Also, would you be okay with a little Clark/Lois on the side?)

Totally! I think it's fair to say most everyone loves Lois, just most everyone loves the end game to be Bruce.
