Oh nonny...I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to respond to this yesterday (filled as it was with birthday celebration stuff yay I got identity porn on my birthday <333333), but I wanted a chance to read it at a more lingering pace.

That you have now given us what I am ALWAYS dying to know--what happens to the scout ship? who took control of it? where is it hidden? who is commanding it?--and paired that up with the "stay out of Gotham" meet-up between Superman and Batman, ripped right from the pages of comics (and my favorite & best dreams about superbat), I am on DC cloud 9 right now. Truly, awesomely wonderful.

THANK YOU FOR TAKING THIS BREAK FROM BRUCE!ANGST AND RETURNING US TO I WILL MAKE EVERYTHING FINE CLARK!PROBLEM SOLVING. THAT'S MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS FILL SO FAR. The compliment between their two viewpoints is really what makes my heart leap with joy.

And how awesome is Diana here???? I love how casual she is, compared to how tied up in knots Bruce and Clark are. It's a wonderful counterpoint to their wonderful angst.

ps: I don't know if I'm ever going to be other Batman literally throwing people at Clark to distract him. Oh god. I was on the ground with laughter-tears squeezing from the corners of my eyes.

!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANON! Apparently the kinkmeme is blessed with summer birthday nonnies. ♥ I hope you had a most excellent day - and am glad I could contribute. ;)

:DDDDDDDDDDD Haha, I'm glad you didn't mind that little block of exposition too much! It really did seem like something Clark would probably ask about/end up being told, so. /o\ :D And let me tell you, I had SO MUCH FUN with those ... like, four lines of dialogue. OH, GRUMPY BRUCE. ♥ So I'm thrilled you liked it!

*does a small delighted dance* I can't even tell you how glad I am to hear this - I haven't really done anything that switches back and forth like this for them, and so a) I am SO GLAD it's not confusing or giving you too much emotional whiplash, and b) I am also SO GLAD that you still find their sections really distinct, because the last thing I want to do is end up muddying their voices. D:
