Oh, nonny, nonny. I was almost a bit hesitant to read this because I don't want it to be over yet, and I've loved this fic so much from the start (I'm the OP, I don't think I mentioned that every time I commented because I got distracted by your awesome fic ;D). But this is such a beautiful ending to an amazing fic.

Awww, that dinner scene, Bruce being all tense underneath, and Martha being sweet and adorable and I love her. And Clark being open and honest with her because he feels bad for even hesitating. Martha's reaction is the best thing, and I love Bruce's, too. :D

just at the same time as Bruce lands his killing blow, says utterly deadpan: "There's always adoption."
I think Clark and Martha have no idea just how serious that might be with Bruce, hehehe.

Bruce doing parkour and climbing in a suit! :D

"And did you find it?" Bruce murmurs. "Which one?"
No, he could say. It's gone. "I'm sitting on it," he says instead.
Clark is so adorable. :D And the selfie comment, amazing.

"Just this once," Bruce continues. His voice drops into a tar-black growl. "After that, you keep to your city and stay out of mine. Understand?"
Bruce still being Bruce, no matter what. <3

He moves on top of Bruce in the filtered moonlight, slow and quiet because the thought of making the bedsprings squeak stirs a kind of adolescent mortification in him. Bruce's thighs shake under him, every ounce of his restraint channeled into staying still while Clark works him inside, panting into his mouth with each tight slip.
Bruce throws his head back, bares his teeth when he comes. After, he turns his face to Clark's neck and breathes his name, over and over.
I had to quote this whole bit back at you because it's so hot and so beautiful. <3

Bruce is not good at letting people go. People he cares about, they have a habit of leaving or dying. As far Clark can tell, he holds the dubious privilege of doing both.
My heaaaaaart. :'( And Clark's attempt at reassurance had to go wrong, oh no. Bruce looking for a flat for Clark, oh my god, I love everything about this chapter.

For someone with such stringent boundaries, he can have a startlingly hard time with other people's.
So true. <3 And those little hints of identity porn, Bruce in his flawless suit, but sounding like himself, awww.

"Consider it a token. Or, you know, for if you ever want to act like a normal person and use the front door."
I'm grinning so much. This entire chapter just makes me so happy. And then that beautiful, beautiful ending. Absolutely wonderful, such a great way to end this awesome story.

Thank you, again, so much for writing this fic and sharing it with us as you went. I loved every bit of it an I'm really looking forward to rereading it from start to finish once I find the time. And, because I'm greedy, I do hope that you're planning to write more fic for this pairing because the way you write them is just beautiful. <3333

OP! I just want to say thank you for your patience and enthusiasm as this thing spiralled out of control (I look back at the 1/4 on that first post and laugh myself silly), and of course for making such an excellent prompt in the first place. It definitely spoke to me ♥ ♥

I think Clark and Martha have no idea just how serious that might be with Bruce, hehehe.
Bruce: makes joke to check reactions, pulls at collar, sweats nervously. :D
