Welcome to Round One of the DCEU Kink Meme!

Oh no nonny, I do apologize for that (in the spirit of sorry/not sorry). But I do feel for you. <3

I'd like to say that in the future, I'll be more considerate and space out the fills but I just have this absolutely terrible track record when it comes to finishing my works in progress. I was happy to get this done all at once, and then once it was done, I JUST COULDN'T. I COULDN'T NOT POST IT ALL. It was very flail-y and excited for me, because reasons. (first superbat smut! first posted smut!)

I'm so glad that my Clark characterization worked for you. I (maybe rightly, maybe wrongly), feel like I've got a much better handle on DCEU Bruce, where his faultlines might plausibly appear. I think the Bruce I explore is always canon-adjacent. Not exactly the Bruce we get on screen, but (hopefully) plausible enough that he doesn't seem like a stranger.

Clark on the other hand is so much *throwing things up into the air*. One of the things that I got from the Extended Cut is that Clark is both pushy when he thinks he's right, but in a kind of patient, only semi-confrontational way. Clark is pushy the way that glaciers are pushy; you'll only get hit if you stand still enough for their inexorable crash.

That ending totally killed me too. And the funny thing is that absolutely was NOT supposed to be the ending. It was supposed to be kind of a dour, downer ending, with Bruce just staring out across the lake and feeling his years. BUT THEN CLARK DID THAT THING WHERE HE JUST TURNS UP WHEN YOU DON'T EXPECT HIM, BUT MAYBE YOU NEED HIM MOST.

I was like, "great Clark, thanks. This was supposed to be ONE FILL."

*rolls eyes affectionately*
