Welcome to Round One of the DCEU Kink Meme!

Updating every other day means you're saving me from myself, honestly. It's around midnight for me when you post and I mean seriously, who can sleep when there might be an update coming! ;D

*cough* anyway... I really love how Clark's impression of Bruce is composited from his public appearences and osmosed rumours, but in the process of trying to validate that image of himself Bruce keeps undermining himself in little ways.

And then the way Clark has to be careful around his loved ones as much as they are around him, and how tiring that is, but then here's Bruce who he can be quiet or bitter or tired around without worrying him OR SO HE THINKS, RIGHT.

Aaaah it's all so lovely <3333

I think one of my favorite things about this is how much sense it makes to me that Bruce would assume Clark will always think the worst of him - and that Bruce is basically always wrong about that. :D So I'm glad you're enjoying that aspect too!
