Welcome to Round One of the DCEU Kink Meme!

Okay, I procrastinated on reading this because the thought of this fic being over hurts me a little, but now that I read it, I just need to yell at you again a lot about how much I love everything about it. And thank you again a thousand times for filling my prompt - when I left it, I was hoping for maybe a teensie cute little fill, I certainly did not expect this amazing, long, wonderful fic you wrote. You're the best. <3

I feel so sorry for Clark in that scene with the reporters - and it's so very much like him that he doesn't even think badly of them because they're just doing their jobs. And I ADORE Clark's sly idea here, using Bruce's own tactics against him in a way, forcing Bruce to talk to him. :D

This doesn't have to become a problem, Clark. I realize I should have let you know before I moved forward with the exit strategy

But Bruce, Clark reminds himself, is a really good actor.
My heaaaaart, oh Bruce. And Clark's process of realisation, and how he understands just what it is Bruce just said, is beautiful. SDKFBDSKGFSS AND THEN CLARK TAKING HIS HANDS AND BRUCE TRYING TO WITHDRAW BUT STILL NOT PULLING HIS HANDS BACK, EEEEEEEEEH. And that ending is perfect, because of course it has to end on another kiss. :DDDDDDDDDDD

I love it. I mean, I'd also read another 30k or just 2k of them having sex without pretending anymore and the press being really excited about how they made up and are still together, but that'd just be getting greedy. ;D Again, thank you so so much for this beautiful, amazing fic. Are you going to post it on AO3? Because then I will yell at you some more over there after rereading it in its entirety (and also maybe stalk you a little in namespace, in a totally non-creepy way ;)). And I said it in the thread above, but I am super excited about your other potential fic ideas and will eat them up with a thousand spoons if you do write them. And I promise to leave excited comments on everything. :DDDD You're the best.
