Only because it's going to make the happy ending better (I hope)! :D I know I said I was always there for maximum pining Bruce, but oh, look, turns out I enjoy pining Clark a whole hell of a lot, too. WHO'D HAVE GUESSED.

I'm now kind of sad that you gave the lake house a guest room instead of making Clark sleep in Bruce's bed

:D Well, even a guest bed is still technically Bruce's? And with that much UST I think even Superman would snap - apparently I'm more interested in dragging this out to a totally unreasonable degree.

I have a weird soft spot for people acknowledging their feelings while also acknowledging that they can, clearly, never ever be with the person they love and trying to force themselves to accept that

... *braintwin high five* Seriously, are you my alter ego? Clone from another dimension? It's okay, you can tell me. ;) I love more traditional pining angst, but it just seems so very fitting for Clark to try to come to grips with it in a way that's about as constructive as it can be, which I ADORE about him. /o\
