and the first time they do sleep with each other, when they're undressing each other and her hands are starting to unbutton his shirt and he suddenly has this moment of self-consciousness because, god, he's an old man, and she's this epitome of human perfection, and his hands briefly stop hers and he only gets as far as "you don't want -" and she just interrupts him with "don't tell me what I want"
OOPS I C/PED AT YOU AGAIN. ♥ I love this so much - because no matter how comfortable with yourself you are, it's such a natural reaction when WONDER WOMAN is taking your clothes off; and Alfred wouldn't get all tied up in knots about it (BRUCE), but there would still be that moment of uncertainty. *____________*
Do not tempt me to abuse my modly privileges
Well, I AM offering it, so maybe you won't have to! (And I won't tell. ;D)
Lee is the one who desperately tries to have a normal life, with a normal girlfriend he could marry some day, while Barney is not even bothering to pretend
Yes! And how much do I love the dynamic of one person being in denial/totally kidding themselves about not being head-over-heels, while the other person quietly, patiently is in love with them and completely self-aware about it? THIS MUCH
And no worries if I don't say something for a while, I am awful about watching things right away and always take ages
Of course! No problem. ;) You caught me at a good time with The Expendables, I'm usually not that prompt myself. /o\
And I am talking about a brothercest ship
:D Excellent! (I should have realized I recognized your name from Pacific Rim - that fandom had one of my few cross-generation exceptions, haha. Whenever there are siblings, I tend to just go straight there instead. /o\)
And, as it happens, I'm pretty sure I've seen the first five of those. :D I was unmotivated to watch the sixth when I learned Gal Gadot dies - but now she's Wonder Woman! So I don't have to be sad about losing her character onscreen anymore. ;) *adds to queue* LOYALTY KINK FEELS, HERE I COME.
