Oooooh, and they might move on slowly to a gentle touch to the small of the other's back (Alfred was always a bit careful about that with some of Diana's dresses ;D). Also, also, just imagine them finally reaching the point where there's not only throat-touching, but neck-kissing. Alfred standing behind her, fastening her necklace, and then leaning in and breathing just the softest kiss onto the juncture of neck and shoulder, or behind her ear

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME, WHY DOES THIS MAKE ME SQUEE SO MUCH???
I DON'T KNOW BUT IT'S GREAT AND YOU SHOULD FEEL GREAT. ♥ They're just such a fantastic contrast to Bruce and Clark in terms of the way they'd go about all this, and yet the things I TRULY love best are still there: the pining, the self-imposed restraint, the intensity of feeling, the care and concern and connection, gah. GAH.
I would love for you to request all of this for DCEU Exchange tbh
... *rolls up sleeves to begin drafting letter* YOU COULD REGRET THAT. BUT LET'S PRETEND YOU WON'T. :D Here's hoping at least one of us comes out of the exchange having written Alfred/Diana for someone! ;)
I still need that Tim and Raylan buddy cop comedy sequel
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Haha, that would be SO AWESOME. You are right, Boyd is great, and yet Tim was just so quietly awesome, I just adore his snarky sharpshooting face so much. /o\ :D
And: *clears throat* MARATHON ACHIEVED. First of all let me say THANK YOU FOR THE REC, that was an awesome way to spend a Saturday. ;D And second ... yeah, that was absolutely up my apparently-angry-violent-dudes-caring-deeply-about-each-other alley. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Love the mockery, love the life-saving, and I now want to make all kinds of awful dirty jokes about Christmas coming. /o\ YOUR FAULT. YOUR. FAULT. ♥
Is it weird that one of the scenes that's really sticking is the one from right before Billy's death? Because I almost got the sense that Ross ordered Christmas to pick up the case so that when Christmas did it, he could be following Ross's orders instead of doing what the bad guy told him to do. And that is exactly the kind of incredibly convoluted gesture of caretaking I love most. :D
