Throat-touching wins by a very small margin, but lingering hand-touching is amazing, too. Oooooh, and they might move on slowly to a gentle touch to the small of the other's back (Alfred was always a bit careful about that with some of Diana's dresses ;D). Also, also, just imagine them finally reaching the point where there's not only throat-touching, but neck-kissing. Alfred standing behind her, fastening her necklace, and then leaning in and breathing just the softest kiss onto the juncture of neck and shoulder, or behind her ear. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME, WHY DOES THIS MAKE ME SQUEE SO MUCH??? (Good thing Jeremy Irons is so tall, for all of this. ^^)

Definitely lots of going dancing together. And yeah, the shotgun thing cracks me up. (Also, Diana observing that Bruce doesn't like guns, and Alfred just sneers a little and says, "I'd like to see Master Bruce try and take mine away from me".) I would love for you to request all of this for DCEU Exchange tbh. Might give me a kick in the ass to write some of it. I will also request all the things because I need actual Alfred/Diana fic in my life. ;D

Yeah, it's nice that we got at least some sort of closure, even if it was pretty obvious that they were planning to space things out over a longer period of time.

Tim is the best. I mean, objectively I know that Boyd is the best, but Tim owns my heart. I still need that Tim and Raylan buddy cop comedy sequel.

I lurked a lot in MCU for Avengers and actually got involved in fandom for Cap 2, but I fell off the bandwagon a little before Civil War hit.

MCU fandom does provide some great fanworks, but with the size of the fandom, another wank is just around the corner most of the time.

NOW I WANT TO WATCH IT ALL AGAIN.

Same, my friend. I'm years overdue for a rewatch. Every time I do, I dream about how amazing it would be if Babylon 5 could have an FX update (hell, even if they did the FX update like they did for Star Trek TOS--but there they had film stock to work with, so a lot of resolution they could squeeze out. Not so for B5.) One of the really interesting things that I've noted about sci-fi series between B5 and now is that the extra budget is just not...very large any more. Sci-fi series tend to feel really sparse. But B5 was cram-packed with extras, background characters, people in full make-up that only walked the Promenade.

But gosh did it make the world feel amazing, and large, and lived in; like stories happened that we didn't even see, because they were outside the purview of the serial format. For real, that's one thing I wouldn't want to lose in a reboot. I'd want to have that same sprawling, populated world. I'm not sure if any channel would have the budget for it! O:

(Plus the SFX would be SO GOOD NOW. :D)

MAYBE IF WE'RE LUCKY ENOUGH WE COULD HAVE A MOVIE REBOOT.

Yes, exactly this! It makes me so sad that we'll never get any better quality out of the original (... like, visual quality, obviously in all other ways the original is EXTREME quality), and that is my #1 reason for wanting a reboot. But I'd also want somebody in charge who was really dedicated to preserving the ~spirit of the original, because trying to grimdark the earnestness out of the heart of B5 would be such a bad idea. D:

Yesssssssss, god, it would be such a shame to lose that! But surely someday the stars will align. Maybe after another five or six Spider-man reboots, we can cash those in and get one B5 reboot out ...

GAH.

Is it weird that one of the scenes that's really sticking is the one from right before Billy's death? Because I almost got the sense that Ross ordered Christmas to pick up the case so that when Christmas did it, he could be following Ross's orders instead of doing what the bad guy told him to do. And that is exactly the kind of incredibly convoluted gesture of caretaking I love most. :D

They are so swoon-worthy, right? And yesss, absolutely agreed about the pining and the restraint and the intensity. Oooooh, the first time Alfred kisses her neck, and he has a moment of hesitation because he's not 100% sure that she wanted him to, and she just turns around and runs her fingertips over his scruff, caressing him all gently and making it so very clear that she doesn't mind. And I want to say AND THEN THEY KISS, but they'll probably take their time with that, too. ;D But it's an almost-kiss. At that point they probably are really into their slow-burning UST.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEH YOU WATCHED THE EXPENDABLES. I was starting to think that maybe you hated the movies and were just quietly not mentioning them again. ;) They're awesome, right? I mean, I'm biased because I will watch anything that has Stallone or Statham in it and movies that have BOTH of them are basically heaven to me, but I do think they're great action movies. And yesss, their relationship is glorious. "Christmas is coming" - "But it's June!"
That's such a good point about picking up the case, yesssss. Now you make me want to roll around in my feelings! One of my favourite moments is their break-up conversation in the third movie, when Barney walks out on them and Lee runs outside and confronts him and literally everything they say in that conversation is like a couple breaking up. I have so many feelings about those two idiots. Oh, and Barney's constant bitching about Lee's girlfriend, about how she's not right for him, he has no idea what Lee even wants with her ... ;D

But I think eventually Diana would decide to go for more, she'd definitely be the one to kiss him first. Probably at the beginning of one of their dates, when Alfred picks her up, and there's this long, sweet, lingering kiss ... and then he just takes her hand and they go out as planned. And the sexual tension is even thicker that night because of that kiss. (Also, random image, once they're at neck kisses - Alfred's fingertips sliding underneath the fabric of her dress at her shoulder, gently pushing it aside just enough for him to kiss her shoulder. Yep, it's really one of the many many reasons I have an embarrassing crush on Sylvester Stallone, haha. Plus it absolutely helps with shipping - Lee is the one who desperately tries to have a normal life, with a normal girlfriend he could marry some day, while Barney is not even bothering to pretend.

I will try to watch the thing you recommended. :D And no worries if I don't say something for a while, I am awful about watching things right away and always take ages. But I definitely liked most Luc Besson things that I've seen so far.

Ooooh, were you in the Pacific Rim fandom? That fandom was so much fun right after the movie came out. It became kinda wanky later on, at least in other corners, but I had so much fun with Herc/Chuck (and wrote so, so much porn). I do love sibling ships a lot, too, but I just have such a thing for father/son ships. Partly because I generally like age differences and cross-generation ships tend to deliver on that more.

Right, she does, which is sad. But you get Luke Evans being creepy and kinda sociopathic and then you get Jason Statham on a glorious rampage of revenge (and, unf, he's HOT when he plays bad guys, I mean, I always find him hot, but it's like he gets more attractive the more evil his character is). It's beautiful. <3 And movies six and seven have more The Rock, and he's always great.

Your favourite ship(s): Oh man. Classic Superman/Lex Luthor, Superman/Batman, Superman/Batman/Wonderwoman… I do like Clark/Lois but I prefer reading about couples that aren’t canon. I’m open, I can be convinced of any pairing with the right fic.
Your favourite scene(s) in the DCEU: The delight on Bruce’s face when Clark shows up at the end of JL to help them fight. Like, contain yourself Bruce. Any moment when Victor is doing his cyborg thing. Any moment when Diana is existing is also A++
Things/characters you want to see in future DCEU movies: JOHN CONSTANTINE (I might have said that a little too loud). Any of the Robins and/or Nightwing.
Fic ideas/tropes/kinkmeme prompts you want to see written/drawn: I will literally sell my soul for anything written in SPACE. Space adventures or time travel shenanigans are my favourite.
Other DC canons you like (comics, animated, movies, shows, games): Smallville up to season 5 (it got too silly after that), Justice League Action, quite a few of the animated movies, Batman the animated series, Batman Beyond (although I was a teenager when I saw most of that so I don’t remember a lot), Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (my personal favourite), the original 1978 Superman movie and sequel, The Dark Knight trilogy, the 1997 Batman & Robin film (I know I said season 6+ of Smallville was too silly for me but you can claw this ridiculous movie from my cold, dead hands)
