If you look at him from the perspective of people naturally inclined to distrust everyone and assume a hidden motive behind every action, then yeah, Bruce Wayne looks questionable as hell. And of course Batman confused Solo and Clark, that was the one thing I knew absolutely had to happen. And then Batman punches Solo for it, because that's how Batman deals with making a fool of himself. Oops.
