Be it by spell, experiment or whatever you can come up with Bruce and Batman become two different people. The choice of rather it's temporary or permanent is also up to the filler. In an ironic twist, Bruce and Batman don't seem to get along. Bruce wanting to kick the doppelganger out of his home and Batman wanting to do nothing but patrol and look for trouble. One of the few things the two have in common is their lust (or love?) for Clark Kent, much to the others added irritation. In an attempt to protect Clark from the other, the two simultaneously start moving in on Clark; much to a very flustered Clark's flattered irritation while he tries to figure out just who the real Bruce Wayne is and how to fix all of this before they destroy one another.
