Re: FILL: as to which may be the true; Bruce/Clark, identity porn (24/24)

Author!nonny, I'm broken by how beautiful this ending is. It hits all of the emotional notes that you've thrown at us along the way AND MORE. I'm delighted that Clark gets to see/know the glimpses of Bruce that he's had all along (the cologne incident, the night Bruce was going to tell Clark before the nightmare which I'm sure will get a better name soon, but for now that's the one I've got). This last part has one of my favorite "Oh, Bruce" moments yet.

Make-up sex with broken bones would be easier.

HEEEEEEE. Oh my god Bruce, what the hell. I love how casually you deployed this line, how fully encapsulates all that is Bruce in this whole fill.

And then you killed me with the final line. Decadent hand-holding, and self-being, and stripping away his last mask. I return to the floor, for I shan't recover. This entire fill has been an epic journey of identity porn!feels (sometimes I can't believe this fill in 50k. It seems like just a few parts ago, Bruce was being a complete ass to Clark at the kitchen table in Smallville <3). THANK YOU for giving back what BvS took from us; THANK YOU for sticking through this fill; thank you for tackling this prompt.

Also thank you for being gentle with us, author!nonny, and not having Clark flip out at Bruce too hard, even though Bruce probably (thought) he deserved it. A heart can only take so much, and the gentleness that came after Clark's rage was like a soothing balm to the break-up. Now I can imagine all of the ways Clark is going to be pissed for a long time, but in a very, "okay, so you're emotionally crippled, let's see how we can come back from that." I foresee a lot of snark and sarcasm in Bruce's future. Clark and Alfred ganging up on poor Bruce to tease him about his foibles. "Hey Bruce, remember that one time when you dragged me over the emotional equivalent of miles of kryptonite rather than tell me your vigilante name? Literally three words could have saved that Bruce. Or two words and a contraction if you were feeling daring."

Next time if it's so hard Bruce, just send Clark a strip-o-gram (yourself) with all of the relevant deets. *_________*

I've thrown kudos at you over in namespace, and I look forward to reading this fill all over again as one whole piece to fall in love with this story all over again. <333333333333333
