DA has a mighty need for both top daddy!Bruce taking Clark apart and pushy bottom Bruce wanting to get fucked to within an inch of his life and being the biggest masochist. I am so glad fandom seems to be with me on the switching front instead of shoehorning him into either direction.

(Related, I also have a need for grabby dom!Clark who never got to fuck anyone as hard andrough as he might liked and for sub!Clark who is so fascinated by pain that he wants Bruce to chain him up with kryptonite and make him scream and sob.)

I love that Bruce and Clark are so complimentary, not just in their personalities and crimefighting styles, but also in their kinks. Which is to say that, YES I agree with all of the above, and yay for people who like switching!

Can I just say how much I like Clark taking the initiative? Bruce can play the philanderer as hard as he likes here, and Clark is taking it all in stride, like 'oh, ok, that's your schtick. Anyway, so here's how I roll.'

Whoosh, literally sweeps Bruce off his feet and takes him along as his date to his own workplace resurrection party, kisses him while flying(!) tugs him into his room by the lapels(!!) asks how they're gonna do it(!!!), and all while Bruce is telling himself that he meant for that to happen. Totally not letting things get out of control here, nope. :DD

I am functioning with 2 neurons these days so I don't have much to add but I love this!!!

Bruce pretends to think about it, already busy with Clark's belt. "Well," he says, getting a hand inside the waistband and listening to Clark gasp. "I was thinking that perhaps we might—" and he slides it carefully around, over Clark's hip, and then back, back, "expand your horizons a bit."

He doesn't even push the fingertip in, but Clark still startles, surging forward into Bruce's thigh, breath catching. "O—Okay," Clark says, a little wobblier than before. "Okay, yes, let's do that."

"My pleasure, believe me," Bruce says, making sure the leer comes through in his voice; and Clark laughs against his jaw and then tugs him in for a kiss.

HNGHHHHHH. SO HOT. AND SWEET. AND SAD, BECAUSE THIS IS BRUCE AFTER ALL, LOL.

A million time yes for this!!!

I don't think I can properly articulate how pleased I am that my prompt has somehow attracted the attention of the folks into switchy SuperBat (plus the other metas).

I honestly don't care who tops/bottoms when it comes to them, but sometimes you just have that itch for loud needy bottom Bruce that needs scratching. ;)

Because BvS loved putting everyone in chains ... I want Bruce chaining Clark up and then whipping him with more chains. Yeah. With some kryptonite involved obviously so Clark gets to enjoy the pain.

Just. Chain-whipping. This fandom is showing me kinks I never knew I had. :D

So the Doomsday battle was the ice-breaker, now it's time for our heroes to get to know each other and play nice, because everyone lives, ok. Let's see an awkward hang out session in the batcave full of revelations, battlefield critiquing (e.g. Superman gets combat training tutoring), apologies (sorry I tried to kill you, Superman), shared eye rolls over Lex's diatribes, and Alfred being sassy and pleased that Master Bruce finally has friends in his line of work.

5 times a member of the Justice League fell in love with Diana/Wonder Woman and the 1 time they showed her how much they cared.

First-time commentator: I stayed up till, like, 5 AM reading this the other night. It's exquisite. Your characterization is great, your writing style is inviting, the porn is great. I can't praise this story enough and look forward to its conclusion. Well done!

AU where Lex takes a little time to get to know the man behind the myth before committing to killing him. In other words, he relentlessly seduces poor doe-eyed Clark Joe from Kansas, if only to reinforce for himself that Superman isn't as pure as everyone thinks he is.

Ha, I'm already imagining the first time Clark sits through one of those weird monologues, and he just kindly nods his head attentively.

And the confusion Lex feels when Clark willingly takes a Jolly Rancher from his hand and smiles while remarking it's his favorite flavor.

This hit me right in the feels, nonny. D: D: D:

All of this is GREAT author-anon. The free and easy Clark, the angsty Bruce, the sheer mental gymnastics he has to go through to accept a party invitation. <3 <3 <3 <3

The identity porn alone in this section will be enough to satisfy my identity-porn needs for quite some time (until the next part comes out). I love how this time, it's Clark pulling Bruce into his world. It's a much more modest party, but it's no less thrilling to have them out in the world, being Bruce and Clark where people can totally see, and Bruce can feel that exquisite terror of Clark increasingly thinking 'yeah, I could go for that later.' AUGH Bruce being SO RESIGNED to sex, but also dragging his heels, and at the same time leering/coming on to Clark.

I wonder how Clark's dealing with all of these YES/NO signals. He probably just stores those 'NO' moments for later, for when things don't fit. Because Bruce's YESes are so strategically deployed to try to cancel out any of the slippage of his persona. Take a cab back. Oh Bruce. *fondly rolls eyes at him*

One of the things that struck me the most vividly about this part of the fill is that I actually hear Henry Cavill's voice when you write Clark.

It was right here:

Clark grins and takes his arm, grip firm and warm just above Bruce's elbow. "Funny you should say that."

"What are you—Clark, someone's going to see—Clark!"

And it just bowled me over. I LOVE LOVE LOVE authors who can so completely inhabit their characters' voices that they come to life on the page.

Ugh let me just. Yes. Okay. (I'm re-reading this fill as I comment.)

WHEN YOUR CLARK LAUGHS THE WORLD LIGHTS UP WITH SHEER DELIGHT.(And Bruce feels All Of The Angst.)

PS: I need a movie about doesn't-take-anyone's-guff-or-sass!Perry. I was DELIGHTED how well you captured him. And now I'm going to steal this phrase:

and bide my time, to spring it on my family at the next family gathering. xD

Evidently. The scenarios that Clark dig up are hilarious, most especially because of his personal experience. The banter made me smile and giggle.

Nate! I love that he’s what helps Clark to want to return to his cape. The entire scene with him was lovely, I can’t…even…

"No," Bruce eventually says. "I have it."

Has this been a device of personal torture that Bruce felt necessary? Why am I asking? You and your incredible tendency to provide mini fills for other fills. What is it with you and the other talented authors here that insist on going above and beyond? I absolutely am not complaining, for the record. I am marveling. I am in awe.

Oh yes please!

There's one thing I've been dying to see in DCEU canon, and that's Clark giving Bruce a kryptonite ring, to stop him if he ever goes rogue. I'm not picky about how it happens (does Clark do kryptonite crafts in his spare time?), I'd just really love to see a 'hey I trust you, how about this ring?' moment between Clark and Bruce.

+Bonus if Bruce thinks Clark is proposing to him
+Extra Bonus if Clark doesn't realize that he kind of is.

:DDDDDDDDD "Bruce's transparent rationalizing" is basically just as good a summary for this fic as "Oh, Bruce."
